TRAINING INSTITUTE

Our free training program teaches the art, craft, technique, and business of garment-making. This selective program takes place over the course of 15 weeks with classes meeting Monday - Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

We are now recruiting applicants for Cohort 16, launching in April.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  1. The applicant must be at least 21 years old at the time of application.

  2. If admitted, the applicant must be available to attend the program, Monday - Friday, from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm for 15 weeks.

  3. Sewing or design experience is not required to be admitted into the program.

  4. Interested applicants must attend an Open House for their applications to be considered.

  5. SNAP eligibility is required for this program.

  6. Applicants must not have already attained advanced degrees.

ATTEND AN OPEN HOUSE

Attend a one-hour, in-person info session to learn more about the program and get your questions answered. Attendance is required to be considered for the program.
