Mara Hoffman x CC Face Masks

We’re so thankful for Mara Hoffman’s continued support and collaboration. Our partnership began when Custom Collaborative’s founder Ngozi Okaro met Celine DeCarlo, head of Brand, People and Culture at Mara Hoffman. Both were presenting at a career day event at the High School of Fashion Industries. DeCarlo introduced Ngozi and Mara, beginning a partnership based on similar goals and interests in sustainable and ethical fashion. Ever since, Mara has been an essential supporter of Custom Collaborative’s work, donating fabric to students and providing mentorship. Last summer, Mara hosted the graduation ceremony of Custom Collaborative’s Cohort 6 at the Mara Hoffman showroom. Students also used fabric donated by Mara and her team to create their graduation garments. The Mara Hoffman x CC Mask is the latest result of this amazing relationship.

“The aim is to design and manufacture our garments with greater care, to reduce our impact, and generate awareness.”

The Mara Hoffman x Custom Collaborative masks are made in New York City by Custom Collaborative graduates and entrepreneurs within the safety of their homes and the secure parameters of our production facility. 100% of proceeds from your purchase contribute directly to the income of the artisans—women who rely on production work to support themselves and their families. The reversible masks, designed for everyday activities, are sewn with upcycled Mara Hoffman fabrics — Zanza (floral) print fabric made of Tencel™ and organic cotton, and Mamba (snakeskin) print fabric made of Tencel™ and linen.

All masks are reversible, washable, and adjustable — order your mask here!
